Cost: $75.00 per person for the week. Please make checks payable to Solomon Temple Baptist Church and give to Cleveland or Doris Belin at check-in time.
To Bring: Linens for twin beds or sleeping bags, pillows and towels. All toiletries,
(Toothbrush, soap, etc).
Parking: On Street Parking
Keys: The leader of the group will be provided a key to the Mission House.
Telephone: The house phone is only set up for local calls. Long distance calls can be made with a calling card. We suggest someone have a cell phone for emergencies.
Messages: Telephone messages will be posted in the Kitchen.
Living Room: Feel free to use the living room. We encourage you NOT to eat or drink in this room.
Vacuum/Sweep: Equipment provided in the downstairs closet. Please sweep everyday (if needed)
And vacuum the last day of your stay. Do not leave clothes/trash lying around the house.
Bathrooms: All bathrooms are shared. Please clean up after each use, wipe down, clean sink and drains, hang up towels, and do not leave clothing on the floor. If someone should get sick clean up the toilet. There are 2 showers in the house. It will help to schedule showers. Supplies for cleaning are under each sink.
Kitchen: Refrigerators are available for guest. You may use all appliances in the kitchen. Clean up after yourself after each meal. Please be considerate of others and clean stove/counter tops, and wipe down the microwave if used and do your dishes after each meal.
Empty kitchen and bathroom trash each day! Put in outside containers.
Doors: Must be closed and locked when you leave for the day.
DO NOT ADJUST THE HEATING THERMOSTAT. If you are uncomfortable, please contact Cleveland or Doris. Turn off all air conditioners when you leave for the day.
SMOKING IS NOT permitted in the house. If you must smoke, please go outside, discard your cigarette butts in the bucket provided - not out in the yard.
NO PETS (Animals)
This sounds like a lot of do's and don'ts - but we are trying to keep the house a nice place for God's workers to stay while serving in Philly.
